Meg,

I´m so sorry to hear your case hasn´t been completed by now. BUT... since they already received the DS-230... my 8 ball says they will complete your case either this week or next and they will give you an appointment for early November.

Hope it works this time!!! ^_^

I bet you won't be able to hold until tomorrow. I personally will give them a shout out later on around 11PM EST. Wish me luck on that one last call for the day too! :pop:

LOL You're right, I just called the automated message service again about an hour ago. Trying to keep my mind busy, but NOT helping lol! I WILL give them a shout out later on around 11 and see what's going on. Hopefully something new for both of us! :)

LadyJane: 6 months? Gosh I pray for you and send you LOTS of luck that you'll hear something AT LEAST before 6 months! :)

(and if I recall, it HAS been right quite a few times!) Here's hoping! Oh--your husband's interview is in like a few days right? GOOD LUCK! I'll say a prayer!

It's the impatient one, isn't it? I am not good when it comes to waiting for things lol! :)

But anyways, I've looked over some of the timelines on here and with no RFE's it takes at least 2 weeks or a little bit less for peoples' cases to be completed after that "NVC has received the checklist on..." message on the automated service.

NVC received our "checklist" (we were missing the DS-230) on 9/11 and no "Case Complete" message yet. Should I call them? I'm afraid of bugging them too much and fear that they could get too ticked off and push our case back "by accident".

Mononoke, what does your 8-ball say lol?

Thanks in advanced for any replies!

Megan,

Looks like i will also be joining this group of folks waiting for their case to be complete and send over to the embassies.

Randy, I feel your pain bro. I am also in the same situation of almost flipping out on the NVC folks........

Each time i speak to my wife, I complain about NVC...and the PROCESS.............

hI,

I just talked to my husband. He called nvc and talked to a customer service. NVC told him that my case was approved and was already forwarded to US Embassy Manila.

We are almost have the same timelines.I sent the DS230 and my documents last September 7, NVC received on spetember13. BUT I DONT BELIEVE IT.THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM SAYS THAT THEY JUST RECEIVED THE CHECKLIST LETTER RESPONSE ON SEPTEMBER 13.

I'm already tired of waiting. I guess i'll just wait whatever happens.

Good Luck

It's ok, not the first time

I was actually good not calling NVC, only once a day everyday last week  But since today is Monday, and then Megan created this post, it only made me aware of my timeline.

It is indeed taking soooo loooong (as it may seem) and it's slowly consuming my sanity over the CASE COMPLETE automated message I have been waiting to hear.

Good luck to all of you!

Yeap, let's see what happens tomorrow...

Oh no! Looks like I started something! Sorry everyone lol! I am SO tempted to call NVC and ask a customer service rep if there is anything new on our case. But I'm waiting! It's funny, I'm a chocoholic and really addicted to it, so picture this scenario if you would.

There's a table with a nice chocolate fudge cake on one plate and on the other there is a phone (to dial up NVC of course). Which one would I choose? I'd HAVE to pick the phone lol! That's how addicted I am to calling them up!

No worries Meg :luv: Since NVC got my case, I'm hooked on to their hotline 603 334 0700. Now, since this is the last part of NVC, it's excruciating to prevent myself from calling them up to check on my case status. My home, cellphone and work phones all have NVC speed dial activated on them.
