OK, i just thought about something....all of a sudden CSC and VCS are saying that our petitions are with officers now, it has been said to atleast 3 or 4 people..Could they just be saying this to stop us from calling...in other words, have they caught up with the RFE trick and are doing their own little thing...I hope not !!!

well, maybe, but the people who have been given that answer ARE at the stage in the process where it could well be true... I think it's right, and will continue to believe so until proven otherwise

I though that also but they did not tell me mine was with an officer when I called. Also, they gave Scott the date his was assigned. I think you guys are getting very close now. Good Luck

haha! That made me laugh! I hope you´re wrong about your petition!!

That also crossed my mind for half a second....heh heh....but you know what? I don´t think so....do you think they are going to take the time to hear your explanation, look for your case and lie??? I don´t think so...I think sometimes you just have to convince them somehow to look for it. If you don´t, then you just get the classic answer....call customer service...but if you´re a good lier, (I suck) they will help you out and tell you what´s really happening...maybe the are processing all may filers!!! :-)

Btw, I called 30 minutes ago but it seems that VSC closes at 4

Really? Weird! I called at 4.30 Iand got an aswering machine saying there were no representatives that could help me at that time and they will transfer me to USCIS.....

I've noticed that sometimes it almost seems if they do things in batches and if people getting this response have all applied around the same time.... it is possible it's true

I called USCIS the other day and the guy gave me the same information that I could not get off the USCIS website myself. I didn't feel any different after I got off the phone with him. I'm still in this waiting game 121 days!

Byron-Leidy: Looks like we are only a few days apart on the filing date. Hope ours get approved around the same time. Post something as soon as you here anything!

I am forever optimistic - and am hoping you hear some good news soon - this process is such a challenge and I certainly had no idea about the complex nature of the process when I started - however - one day you will get through this as will I and this time can only make the love we feel for our SO much stronger and we can appreciate the time we have together.....good luck to you!
