USCIS processing dates update

Hey guys! The USCIS has updated the processing dates.

California and Vermont service centers

I 130: 6 months

Hope they process our applications more faster

FYI, USCIS always keeps their dates at 6 months for I-129F and I-130 cases, the rule is that they wont have any case information when you call them unless the case is more than 6 months old, so the dates on the website is their way of saying don't call us until then.

The timelines here on VJ will give you a better estimate than the USCIS site.

hey ze...looks your my timeline is right around yours, i mailed mine on 18th may to nebraska, the notice date is june 6th from CSC, when u say touched, is that an update on the time on uscis site when u login to your account ? mine still shows last updated on the june 8th when i opened my account ..

thats basically right. when you see the date on the USCIS website, that is the date that the last action took place on your account. It gives a vague explanation beow it, but everytime the date changed, it means that someone from USCIS has looked at your case or possibly done something with your case. The website doesn't tell you and you won't get any answers from USCIS, so basically a 'touch' is just them playing with your emotions and at least letting you know that there is actually someone working over there and your file isn't lost

Hi ! u are absolutely right jundibasam. Your hope rises when u see a touch on your case. At the moment there is only one May approval. Are there any other may fillers who have been approved out there???

And I got excited thinking that having 6 Months in there means it's going to be faster... *sighs*

6 months until a soul opens my envelope and finds a 6 months old check that can't be cashed?

then begin the whole process? So looking at minimum 18 month wait?
