Hello,

I have a question peeps.. should i have a newest NBI and cenomar? my NBI is dated may this year and cenomar march 2007. Will this suffice?? thanks in advance..

02/07/2011-USCIS online status update-

02/12/2011- Received Interview Letter Scheduled March 14

02/12/2011- Received Descheduled letter

02/17/2011- USCIS online Status update

02/22/2011-New IL arrived schedule for March 29

02/22/2011-Descheduled Letter Again ( 2nd Time)

02/23/2011- I called USCIS and I was told new schedule in the computer for March 22

02/23/2011-USCIS ONline update....

03/01/2011-Interview Letter for March 22 @ 7:15 AM

03/22/2011- Interview and Oath; US Citizen

Better to have both updated.

NBI is easy to do and doesn't cost much. My wife did so a month before interview.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Better to have both updated.

NBI is easy to do and doesn't cost much. My wife did so a month before interview.

the recent the better... especially with cenomar since it will keep updated every month if you get married or not as of the day you filed for a cenomar... i had mine both updated 8 days before my interview... lol... good luck!!!

Agree with the rest. I had my NBI updated a week and the CENOMAR 2 weeks before the interview.

06 March 2010 - received I-797C, Notice of Action/Receipt

01 April 2010 - Biometrics Appointment (Biometrics done 4/7/10)

27 April 2010 - received I-797C/ Request to Appear for Naturalization Interview

02 June 2010 - Interview schedule

17 June 2010 - Oath Taking (Memorial Auditorium, Sacramento, CA)

yup you can renew it even if its just a day old :blush: lol... no worries about that... i had mine renewed 3 months later in preparing for my interview... good luck!!!

Yes you can. My NBI was less than 5 months but I renewed it a week before my interview.

thank you peeps... i ordered cenomar today and will have it in 10 days hopefully before my interview and will renew my nbi tomorrow. Im getting paranoid lol...

if you get a renewal of your NBI clearance, does it show your fingerprints? mine doesnt. Will this create a problem?

it says in the bottom, not valid without dry stamp or fingerprints... i am soooooo confused... please HELP!!! :wacko:

My EAD was approved in 27 days

In the old days of Asawa more than one person got a stamp pad and put their own thumb print on the NBI certificate.

Forgot what color ink they used tho!

Not recommending you do the same. But!
