My wife became an LPR in April of 2005 so she can apply for Citizenship in January of 2008. At that point we will only have 2 years of US tax returns (2005, 2006). What should we do? We normally do not file until at least March.

I didn't realize you have to submit tax returns with the n-400 to apply for USC?

That is not a problem at all. Go ahead and file. If they need more evidence, they will ask you. But make sure you bring all the documents, your marriage certificate, and tax returns to the interview. Good luck
