:help: At the conclusion of my fiance's interview she was given a letter along with pink slip etc. She paid Delbros, but the letter stated

for her to wait for the USE to contact her, and it did not ask for any other evidance or info just to wait. ? ? ? ? ? ?

Does anyone have any idea what this means ? Or how long this will take ? Is this AR ?

If she made to pay Delbros, that means she will get a visa soon. The visa will be delivered 4 working days to 2 weeks from the interview date.

skyblue06 is right, even people who put into AR jail still pay delbros but in the letter that was returned to you by USEM after interview, if it states there to wait till you hear from them... could be you are in AR

Yep! That's AR!

You can try calling Lorriane at the embassy and see if she can tell you why.

If that is the lady at ext 5184 then by all means give her a call. I hope this is resolved quickly, I can understand how terrible it is to have to wait. The good thing is they had you pay DELBROS so the visa should be issued. Good luck

Did the embassy keep the passport? That is usually a good sign if they did

"wait till you here from us" means AR, but if your confident enough that you submitted ALL the necessary documents then its just a random check from USE....

The long white paper that says "Wait till you hear from us", that means you're on AR. But paying DELBROS and keeping your passport is a good sign and that means your visa will be delivered after they do some background checkings. If they will need more documents from you they will tell you to submit it to them. Ask your petitioner to call USEM and ask for Lorraine Gonzales at 528-6300 loc. 5184. Good Luck!

I have a friend who received the same "wait till you hear from us", found out later that they had to do thorough checking on her and after more than 4 weeks, she finally received her visa. She did pay DELBROS and they kept her passport too... Follow their advice about calling Ms. Lorraine. It always helps...
