On the Ukraine Embassy site it states passport delivery could take up to 10 days.

Does anyone know how long it normally takes?

And does anyone know if the 10 days is calendar days or working days?

I can't answer to how long it normally takes, but I would assume 10 mailing days.

US Immigration Timeline

24 Feb 2007 - Sent I-130 to London USCIS office (I'm the petitioner)

25 May 2007 - NOA2

2 June 2007 - Received Packet 3

12 Oct 2007 - Sent Packet 3 back by special delivery

5 Nov 2007 - Interview in London - Approved without any hitches!

7 Nov 2007 - Visa and MBE arrived by SMS! :)

30 Jan 2008 - Fly to Michigan!! :)

*Note: Any delays in our case are only due to us taking things slowly

Yes. It looks like about 10 days! We emailed the embassy in addition to checking with the call center. The call center still didn't know about it, but the embassy had received our I-129F. We are going to try to make our interview with the call center on Monday. Thanks, Mike! :yes:

Wife's visa journey:

03/19/07: Initial mailing of I-129F.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!

if the embassy told you that the visa has been issued .. and if you are in a real HURRY .. then you may go to the embassy and pick your passport up yourself .. that will take less than one working day :pop:
