Hi everybody. I have a small question. My financee has a co-sponsor, and she (my fiancee) doesnt reach the poverty line bc she is studying, so does she have to submit the I-134 with the co-sponsor or just submiting the form of the sponsor will be enough? thank you

Hi, mdc!

Here's a thread started about I-134 & Student Status http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=75295

I'm sure your situation is different, but maybe this can give you some ideas. Feel free to PM as well.

Oh, sorry I re-read your post. Its my understanding that the person who is the K-1 petitioner (your fiance) MUST submitt an I-134, if the petitioner doesn't meet the poverty guidelines by themselves, then an addtional I-134 form can be submitt by someone else who will be considered a co-sponsor.
