what is the general time frame that people have their form DS-3032 got generated?

thanking you all in advance and good luck to all

Mine took 12 days to be 'generated', I don't know if that is standard or not. It took like 16-17 after that date to actually receive the hard copy in the mail (in Canada).

That said, they told me they mailed my DS-230 on August 21st (3 weeks ago), I still haven't received it in the mail - don't know if it is always slower or their mail-outs are getting slower.

Same for me... the average of our timelines seems to be a fairly accurate estimate.

by the way, if you want to use the shortcuts in the process I suggest you not to e-mail the choice of agent, we did and NVC decided to start taking more than 2 weeks to process e-mails...

Shortcut question.

1) if it takes 2 weeks to process emails, and 2 weeks to go from number assigned, mailing out ds-3032, can I just email the choice of agent as soon as the number is assigned?

2) why do you have to wait for the automated message? Seems llike I should just package up all the forms they need and the payments they want, then just mail it all at once.

Save them and me a lot of trouble.

1 - You have to wait until they are ready (ie they say they have generated it) before you send anything.

2 - You can't apply logic to this process :)

Most of these processes are automated, if you buck the order your stuff will probably just end up sitting on someones desk somewhere in the "don't know what to do with this stuff" pile.

Correction: probably ends up under someone's desk in the "don't know what to do with this stuff" bin (AKA garbage).
