Say a fiance comes on K1 visa to the US in Dec 01 2007 and get married in Jan 01 2008. Then does all processes on time how long do you guys think on average it would take to get the US citizenship?

Thanks

3 years to apply [90days short of I THINK!] from date of GC approval.

How long after she applies and gets approval is up in the air.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Assuming no divorce, it takes 3 years after getting a green card to be eligible for naturalization. If your fiancee spends a lot of time outside of the country, it can take much longer. So depending how long it takes to get your green card, your looking at 2011 at the earliest.

Some people can get it in 2 months. Others have waited over a year or two. Its hard to say what will happen in your situation.
