What if Fiancee Moves?

My Fiancee recently found out her landlord has sold the house, so she will be moving in the next 30 days. My question is that I recently (march 23rd) submitted our k1 application? The problem is, unlike in the US, the Cayman islands is somewhat chaotic with mail, not to mention the Counsulate is in Jamacia. Can we have this mail forwarded to me? Or how do we go about changing the address so the application is actually received? I don't want this to be even a day delay. Thanks.

Call then uscis and ask how can you change the main adress to receive the things,,,

Ana Castra is correct. You just started this process by your timeline I see. If she has family nearby maybe you can use this address until she is settled again? Good luck.

One thing to be aware of is don't count on mail forwarding if stuff goes to your old address... I think the envelope specifically states not to forward it.

I've been reading this thread and it's not quite clear to me what to do in case the US fiance has to move.

Are there any guidlines from USCIS available somewhere? Does the change of address affect the processing time? We're currently awaiting NOA-2 from the CA center, and I'm planning to move in a month or so

TIA,

Andy

I don´t think it affects the processing time, but more like you need to get this info to them so they can send your any pakcage, as well as in case they want to track you down, or run checks, besides, you need to submitt true info when applying, so change of address is included.
