Travel after AOS NOA arrives

You can only travel outside the US once you receive either the GC or the Advance Parole.

The AOS NOA won't suffice for re-entry into the US. You'll need to wait for your AP or GC.

My fiance plans to apply for a K1 visa. As i understand after getting married in the US we file for AOS with the I-485. Once that is done and we receive the Notice of Action (I guess it is I-797) can we travel ouside the U.S.A and reenter with that NOA?

Thanks

YMMV

Sounds like you are confusing AOS NOA1 with Lifting Conditions NOA.

NO, the AOS NOA wont allow travel, your need to file I-131 either with AOS or after filing AOS paperwork, and have the Advance Parole document in hand before traveling out of country. Leaving the country without AP is considered to be abandoning the AOS process and you will be starting over by filing for a new visa, either K-3 or CR-1 visa to re-enter the country.

16 I-131, Application for Travel Document, if you need to travel outside the United States while your application is processed (optional)
