My husband's interview is on Sept 21st and I am just anxious to get it over and done with. Good luck on your interview. I am sure all will go well. :D

10/23/2007 - Receive SSC (took 9 days from POE)

12/04/2007 - Receive Welcome Letter

12/14/2007 - Received 2nd Welcome Letter and Green card!!!

09/21/2010 - Mailed application to Lewisville TX location

09/23/2010 - Information input in the system/check cashed

09/29/2010 - N-400 receipt received

09/30/2010 - RFE mailed

10/15/2010 - Biometrics appt (@8am) YAY!!!!

11/20/2010 - Received the yellow letter (dated 11/17/2010)

11/30/2010 - Case moved to the Testing & Interview stage (Email)

12/03/2010 - Received interview letter

01/06/2011 - Interview @ 10:15a...APPROVED!

02/12/2011 - Received oath ceremony letter (dated 02/10/2011)

02/18/2011 - Received descheduled oath ceremony letter (dated 2/15/2011)

02/26/2011 - Received new oath ceremony letter

03/02/2011 - Oath Ceremony @ 1:30p (IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!)

03/09/2011 - Oath Ceremony @ 1:30p...FINALLY A CITIZEN!!!

just relax, pray and believe that everything will be fine. my husband's interview is in 14 days and i am nervous/anxious, and just want them to give him his visa already....ahhhh.....so i know how you feel. stay strong and positive!

2/27/07--approved (via email)

1/6/07--I-129F mailed

1/16/07--NOA1 received

1/29/07-- Case transferred to Vermont Service Center

2/8/07--touched

2/28/08--approved (via email)

3/1/07- Case transferred to NVC

3/12/07- Case forwarded to US Embassy In Ghana

4/17/07- Packet 3 received (my husband picked it up in accra)

4/25/07- Packet 4 received

8/20/07- Medical (Part I- Vaccinations/ Physical)

8/28/07- Medical (Part II- X-Rays/ Blood Work)

9/12/07- Picked up Medical Results

9/13/07- SUCESSFUL K-3 INTERVIEW!!!!!!

9/21/07- PICK UP VISA!!!

10/7/07- POE=JFK

10/30/07- EAD application received at Vermont Service Center

3/10/08- FINALLY APPROVED AFTER 4 MONTHS! (THANK GOD!)

3/15/08- CARD RECEIVED IN THE MAIL!!!

5/30/08 My husband started working!

3/12/09- Mailed out AOS papers

7/15/09-Initial interview in NYC = Success!!!

7/25/09- received 10 year green card in the mail! (YES!)

9/18/07- Interview-Approved!!!

9/21/07- Visa Pick Up

10/3/07- US Arrival

Being nervous is normall we were all nervous during our time of interviews, all you have to do is look over and over and over again that meet the requirements on packet 3 & 4 and above all pray harder believe me it be a success.

01/17/2008 - Email from CRIS that I-129 was approved!

Now that it is getting closer the nervous are getting worse......Not sleeping not being able to relax.........Ohhhhh praying very hard that nothing goes wrong....... :unsure: .......

Im getting Nervous about my husbands interview Sep. 20th.......Any Ideas on how to deal with the nerves????

Lets have a deep breath and positive thoughts about it.

Our interview is in two days so we are eating nails... however, we are planning to spend some time relaxing so we can do it fine.

On the otehr hand we are reading reviews and posts here in VJ... that helps really a lot!

Try to relax. Have a positive attitude. Be confident. Make sure you have all the necessary documents for your interview. Good Luck on your interview!
