Is NVC taking longer?

...but they've had it for 27 days so far and have yet to cash the damn thing. That is NOT normal. I really wish they'd cash the bloody thing. TAKE MY MONEY! PLEASE!!

For 3 long weeks I keep listening to old recording of my case and wondering what happen to my IV bill payment that

I sent last August 10. After talking to NVC this morning they emailed me ... Below is the copy of the email.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

We are waiting for the form DS-230 (Application for Immigrant Visa). The

applicant must complete this form and send it to this office so that we may

continue processing this file.

Please visit <http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html> to

download a copy of the DS-230 and/or the instructions. If you do not have access

to the internet, you may wish to visit your local library or an internet café.

Also received today a package from my beneficiary with all the documents that I need to send

along with DS-230 including the one that needs a signature.

Does this mean we can generate our own DS-230 cover sheet via james shortcut once I've been notified of the generation?

ps: Sent IV Bill out 8-2-07. NVC received check on 8-15-07. Check cashed 8-16-07. Just patiently waiting for DS-230 from NVC.

If NVC notified you of the generation date, then do so and send out your DS230 as per JSC.

YEs they are taking it tooo long.. on that when my wife called the operator ... she said.... mam we get 1000 mails every day .. you have to wait.... you know its frustrating because we already have waited for 6 months so that our case becomes current and on that when things are slowed down due to petty reasons.... its hell like feeling to me
