Hi all K1 filers!

Hi everyone! I haven't had the chance to really involve myself in this forum, but I have been peeking in from time to time to see where I could offer some help or support. Today I did notice a peculiarity. There seem to be multiple overlapping threads in here. There are currently 3 April filer thread locations, 2 March filers threads, a few others that would def overlap. What gives? Are some threads missed and new ones started, and if that is the case, should they be merged?

Let me know your thoughts to improve the ease of searching and finding what you need.

Maybe people just feel better tracking their own threads. I certainly don't mind duplicates if it helps people with the process

I don't mind duplicates either although when there is an obviously active thread that gets duplicated I get irrationally annoyed!! I can understand people asking the same questions again if the answers aren't immediately obvious - I myself have done it as searching brings up so many results that aren't relevant it is easier to start from scratch!!

You can merge if you like, though it won't solve the problem with people not using search before posting. It will be a constant clean-up effort, IMO.

The constant clean up isnt something so new to VJ, so I don't think that would be a big deal. The focus is what makes the forum easier to wade through for members. Multiple threads do seem to add to "clutter: - sorry for the term, I need more coffee .

There have been many suggestions to make the VJ timelines more eye pleasing and easier to use for all.

I don't know - the way my mind works means that on my puter everything has to be in a specific directory and if there are crossovers then the file is duplicated and put in both just so things are complete...

It would obviously help things a lot! No wonder no one can find anything in here!
