Right now I met a Indian girl online and we have been chatting since a while. And I am planning get a married with her. she is in India right now and I am planning to bring her here soon as I can. So what are my option to bring her here soon? I hear that the new law in India If I want to apply a I-130 from new Delhi I have to stay in India for a 6 month ? And I think that’s a long time. So I am thinking to do a k-1 fiancé file for her. How long does that takes? And how do I have to apply for her visa. I mean I am going India this Oct. can i apply before i goto india? or Do I have to do engagement with her before I file? And can I file from India or do I have to come here to USA and than file? please advise me guys...i am tottaly confuse here.

You need to have met in person within the last 2 years before you file. You will need to produce proof of this such as boarding passes, passport stamps, photographs together (with family if possible). Read the guides for more details.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC
