Yet another CFO question and one about packet 3

My SO has a certified copy of my divorce with her. When she presents this to the CFO do they just look at it or will they keep it for their records?

If they do keep it should I send her another certified copy for the interview? I included a true certified copy of my divorce in the I-129F petition so they should already have all those documents for the interview right? Or should I go ahead and get another copy to her?

Now about packet 3.

We have not received ours yet and I'm not to worried yet, but was just wondering if we can just do the packet 3 online at the Us Embassy website to get that out of the way now? Or do I need to wait for the physical packet 3?

At the bottom of this page the US Embassy provides everything in the Packet 3

Thanks

Just tell her to bring the certified true copy of your divorce decree and a photocopy, if they ask for it (sometimes they do but in my case, they did not), then she can give the photocopy.

You can request for a packet pick-up at SLEC (St. Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic) and they will ask this from the USEM. SLEC will contact you/your SO that is is ready for pick-up. Then she can go to SLEC and pick up her packet and she can also have her medical exam (if she haven't done it yet). Good Luck.

I found that it's better to be prepared for anything, so I would send another certified copy of the divorce.

As far as packet 3, you can get the forms on line and it's fine to do those in advance (that's what I did). However, you will need the appointment letter to get into the Embassy.

Would she need anything like the NOA2 to pick the packet up? or just her passport? If so I have sent the NOA2 to her already but it has not arrived yet. I have sent an inquiry as to why it hasn't yet, as it should have arrived a few weeks ago. I did scan it and email it to her. Can she use a copy of the NOA2? Or will she need to original of that?

Just tell her to have it photocopy already coz they just really ask that and most of that cases they really ask one copy you dont need to get another one. For your packet 3 just wait it to arrive or try to call the hotline of US Embassy Manila coz they will give you a date ahead of time and a deadline in case your packet 3 will not arrive so your fiancee need to come in manila and directly print online for her medical and present it to St. Lukes and after her medical on thee 3rd day she will go to the embassy and be in gate 2 so that she can personally get her pocket 3 so better call the embassy so that you will know what early date they gave to your fiancee.

Like for example to me they mail the pocket 3 last aug. 10 and scheduled me a medical for sept. 27 and interview for oct. 4 but until now my pocket 3 dont arrive yet...So, when i called yesterday they said if my pocket 3 dont arrive yet until Sept. 7-9 I need to go to manila early as Sept. 19-20 for my medical and print it online for my schedule and present it to St. Luke for some documents needed in the interview be sure she will bring it also coz they said just to make sure coz St. Luke will ask it sometimes..

Hope this answers your questions:-)

Have a nice day and God bless to both of you:-)

She can bring the copy of her NOA2 (SLEC will also accept NOA2 copy for early medical), or she can also print out the appointment schedule from the USEM website. Sometimes packet don't arrive on time and sometimes it don't arrive at all- these things happen. I never receive my appointment packet (USEM never sent me one), my husband receive the appointment packet from NVC and that is what I used. Also tell her to bring ID's (passport will do) for Identification purposes.
