Hello Fellow August Filers! Well, getting VSC to send the NOA1 seemed to be fairly simple. In the holding pattern for the NOA2 with everyone else. Here's a question for all....has anyone attempted to have their future spouse vist the U.S. from the Philippines on a B-2 while waiting? Just a thought.... BEST OF LUCK TO ALL!

Hi August Filers,

Happy Holidays...

I just read under one of the other topics that some August filers are anticipating their NOA2 in January or February? When did this happen? I've been hoping and praying for it to come as soon as possible! But the prospect of having to wait until Jan or Feb makes my heart sink even further... :( Anyone have any thoughts? Is December still too ambitious to hope for?

We're filed with Vermont, by the way.

Hope all is well,

Thanks,

hz

You never really know. A lot of petitions were filed in July because of the fee change on 7/30/07, so there may be a slowdown. That said, February is probably a little pessimistic, or realistic depending on who you talk to. I wish they would have processed my NOA1 in a more timely manner, I'd be in much better position if they did.

... so they approved more Sept. filers yesterday and still nothing at all for us August filers. (at least at VSC there's absolutely none)

Don't get me wrong, I hope they do continue processing cases faster. But why on earth can't they just follow the freaking receipt dates????

And today we called doing the RFE trick, and got a guy... Steve said the guy was nice but gave us no useful information, other than what we already know

I'm so frustrated.

Hopeful,

V.

Yeah, I'd like to see more approvals in the correct order, and I say this as a September filer. Plenty of other people ahead of me that have been waiting longer. They should get their approvals first.

Are you making your own roflkitties or are you finding those somewhere?
