Since you are sending the I-130 and I-129 packages separately, do the photos need to be the exact same? or can they be different?

Thanks

Jenni

No they don't need to be the same as long as they are the right size and taken in the way they want them and they are not too old. That's all that matters. I used different pictures for I-130 and I-129F... no problem!

The pictures don't need to be the same and the petitions no longer need to be sent separately. You can send both petitions together in the same envelope, directly to either California or Vermont, depending on your state of residence. The I-130 in the envelope is you proof of having filed it.

On the other hand, you might want to read some of the recent discussions on whether to send the I-129F at all. More has changed than has been mentioned above.
