I know the I-864 no longer needs to be notarized, but directions for the I-864A say that it must be notarized?

Some people are saying that BOTH don't have to be notarized...some are saying that only the I-864A needs to be...

Can someone give me the final word?

I go by if there ain't no place on USCIS forms for a notary to sign. No need to be notarized.

Maybe used to be, but none of the forms needs to be notarized now. Don't forget that all the sponsors but the petitioner need to send the birth certificate with the form.

I was wondering about exactly that, how does USCIS verify the identity of the Household Member completing the I-864A, other than reviewing a tax return. The form only asks the relationship between the Household Member and the Sponsor. It doesn't even ask about the citizenship or immigration status of the Household Member. And it doesn't ask for a notarized signature either. I guess including proof of identity and citizenship wouldn't hurt.
