I received my packet 3 in the mail on the 20th July (a full month ago, now) and have since sent in DS-2301 Immigrant Visa Application Part 1, Biographic Data as they requested. I've yet to hear back from them about anything. The average wait time in Australia is 14 days so.. Have I done something wrong? I'm beginning to freak out here. Did I miss a step? The only other instructions in the packet say to fill out 2 copies of the DS-156 form and bring it TO the interview, and list other required documents to bring TO the interview. But have I still missed something out? It wasn't a month ago I mailed the DS-2301 off, probably 2 weeks or so, but still. A delay like this is just freaking me out. I don't want to fail or mess up or anything :(

Even when you got the package one month ago, you completed it and sent it back only 2 weeks ago.. so they might still be working on it, if the average time in your Embassy is 14 days you're still on the 'regular' waiting period.. I'd wait another week and then give them a call.
