Hi guys, just want to ask if anyone of u here received letter from NVC and the main title is Checklist? Since in this case we send the I864 first while we still not received the IV Bill fee i think this does not matter, correct me if im wrong since i base it on the NVC Process flowchart in James shortcut for CR1, the I864 is not dependent in the IV Bill fee only the DS230.

They said in their letter that they cant process I864 since they still not received the IV Bill.. When my husband call the NVC they said that they already generated the Bill last Monday (aug. 13) since until now my husband didnt receive the IV Bill yet. How long does it take before the petitioner will receive it after they generated it in their system? Does anyone here any idea about this?

Please f anyone have a scanned copy of the IV Bill fee can u attached here or email it to me in this address agnesantone@yahoo.com or if anyone have a website where i can see how IV Bill look like can u share it? :)

Your help will highly be appreciated.

Thank you.

I think the Checklist that you are referring to is the DS230. The AOS Fee Bill ($70) is for the I-864; hence, the IV Bill ($380) is for the DS230. If you are saying that they can not process your checklist without the IV Bill, its because once your payment is received, then they will generate the DS230 barcoded coversheet with it and will supply you the information that they will need from you. NVC will require you to submit your DS230 with the supporting documents. As I can see from your timeline, you already have the I-864. The "missing documents" or "checklist" is the DS230, however you need to wait for the IV Bill.

Click on the link below. This will tell you the list of documents that you needed to obtain and to submit with the DS230.

Hope this answers your concerns.

Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: Scotland
Timeline

I received a "Checklist" last week but it wasn't for the DS-230 as I had already returned that. Our Checklist was because something was missing on the I-864 that they needed. I had included my tax returns but not the actual P60 (W2) which they wanted. So, I sent that back with the Checklist and now they seem happy.

Just do whatever the Checklist says and try not to over-complicate it. I'm learning day by day that they don't want long explanations or over-complications. Just follow whatever the instructions tell you.

Hi RandyandRina and Willchels, tnx for the information you shared..:) i did really appreciated it..Actually the missing document that they said is the OF-230-I that i know is the DS230 now. Pls correct me if im wrong.

And since we still not receive the IV Bill so we need to wait and pay this before sending the DS230 (using James Shortcut) if they already generated it... My husband just got confused at first i just read it now whn he send me the scanned copy of it..

Randy and Rina i notice that we almost on the same range of date in terms of our processing in NVC.. ;) But good for u since you just file it this year and u almost done in NVC.. unlike us that we submitted our application just last july 06 and until now we still apart :crying: I hope that we will have the same interview date in US Embassy..

Goodluck and GOD Bless to our processing i know this journey will end soon.. :)
