I am the petitioner living in US. My husband lives overseas.

Two questions:

First question: Can I be his choice of AGENT for Immigrant Visa Application?

Second questions: Which visa option should I go with ; i129 F or CR/IR1?

Thanks

Hi, yes you can be the choice of agent.

If you decide to go for IR-1 or CR-1 (depending on how long you have been married), once you will receive the NOA2 your case will move to NVC, there they will send a letter to your husband called DS-3032 (choice of agent) he will have to put you as agent (it's pretty common, that's what we have done too).

You can choose, K-3 at the moment doesn't seem to be much faster than CR-1, but now the rules are different and you can mail both at the same time. Technically K-3 has less steps, there is only a short pit stop at NVC after being approved so it's technically faster. CR-1 is better because your husband will be able to work right away without AOS.

Hope I helped you.
