Just wanting to know how long it will take for the visa to be deliverd if my fiance' is in Negros Occ. We want to book her flight

to the US as soon as possible. Or can she pick up the visa from the Embassy just before her flight? She wants to leave 2 weeks after the interview. :help:

Can take up to 2+ weeks to get visas in the provinces.

Depends on how Delbros sends it.

Sometimes they deliver themselves and sometimes they use DHL.

Depends on if they cover the area with their own couriers or not.

If petitioner is at the interview they will sometimes allow the visa being picked up at the embassy.

Very seldom do they allow a pinay to pick it up unless there is a GOOD reason.

Having a scheduled plane trip don't count!

She still will have to get the CFO sticker after she has her visa in hand.

My wife did the CFO seminar prior to the interview and got the sticker in her PP the morning she flew.

Whewwwww ! Almost missed the plane.

If she hadn't been flying business class [Mabuhay]she would have missed it!

Her chances of getting approval for VISA pick-up are almost 0 if she is alone at the interview. It's a little better if you are there and present a written request for pick-up to the CO, explaining your reason for the request.

I was there and was succesful in getting pick-up approved, but others there with us were not. I had a written request.

She will need to get her CFO stamp after she gets her passport/VISA anyway, so you need to allow time for that.

Delivery to most metro areas usually runs a week or so, but remote areas take longer, maybe 2 weeks or even more is possible.

Good Day garya,

My fiance and I are planning to pick my visa too after approval hopefully too... Should he write a letter request still even if he will be with me during interview? and to whom should we address the letter? What are the valid reasons should be written to have an approval for pick -up?? Thanks for taking time for this query.. God bless.
