I just got my finacee's photo via express mail from China. The problem is that it is not exactly 2 by 2. It is rather 2 by 1.5. Would this be a big problem? The mail time is about 5-7 days but I don't want to wait any longer.

AOS Journey

07/23/2008: POE Detroit

08/04/2008: Applied for SSN

08/08/2008: Got Married

09/10/2008: Mailed AOS/EAD/AP

09/12/2008: Arrived in Chicago/Signed by V BUSTAMANTE

09/19/2008: Check cashed

09/22/2008: NOAs for I-485/I-131 (dated 09/17) but I-765 was rejected due to outdated form (Rev 4/08/2008)

09/24/2008: Mailed I-765 (rev 05/27/2008) again

09/28/2008: I-765 was delivered

10/03/2008: I-485 transferred to CALIFORNIA

10/06/2008: NOA for I-765

10/10/2008: biometrics

12/01/2008: AP approved

12/05/2008: EAD ordered

02/19/2009: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

The one we used for the I-129F was 1.5x2 also and we had no problems, they just use the pic for reference and attach it to the G-325A, not for making id cards.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

That was also the size of the photos that my fiancee got. But to be safe I edited the digital original it to fit the 2x2 size and printed it out with kinkos photo printer.

Right. She should get the right photo's to take to GUZ for the interview.

My fiancee could not locate a photo shop in her city of Guilin that would do the 2x2 photos, later when going to the interview we got the 2x2 ones for the consulate on the 4th floor of Tian Yu Gardens building in Guangzhou at one of the travel agents located there.

If you send in the package then get your fiancee to forward some of the correct size to you so that if you do get an RFE you have them to hand to send out immediately.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment
