First post for me, but I've been reading the boards every day!

Anyway - We sent back the Affidavidt of Support along with $70 fee on June 4-2007 and they say they have NO record of receiving it. Do I give them more time to "find" it or do I send it again or what?

all very confusing

**** and yes, working on our timeline *****

patience please

The fee that you sent, have you been able to check if it has been cashed (money order/check)? Have they said they have not received the fee bill payment at all? I would send it again; while they received the payment for my fee bill, they told me they had not received my paperwork either, so I hard to re-send mine.

It depends on the type of money order you bought. Is there an 800# on your receipt? Since it's been over two months, you can get a new one for the $70 and cancel the other one you sent back in June. It is not normal for the NVC to not have recorded your payment two months after you mailed it in.

CR-1

02/05/07 - I-130 sent to NSC

05/03/07 - NOA2

05/10/07 - NVC receives petition, case # assigned

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

Okay, talked to them today, ironically they did receive the money order and cashed it in July. Guess they couldn't tell me that when I called TWICE last week. Hmmmm.

BUT, they still have no record of the Affidavit of Support, so they are sending me another one to fill out and send back to them.

Is there anywhere that I can download this thing? That way I could print it out and mail it back to them probably before I even get the one they are sending in the mail.

I looked but I found 2 that say they are affidavit of supports, and now I'm even more confused. There are 2 affidavit of supports? I-134 and I-864???? Jeeze, have I screwed up royally or what?

Which one should we send?

Sorry for being an idiot, my fault totally.

I'm confused, are you going for a CR1 visa? Your timeline says K3.

Anyway, if you're going through with the CR1 visa and the NVC already received the $70 for the AOS bill, you will need to mail them the I-864 depending on your financial situation. You can read more about it on James' shortcuts found here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...=117&st=135. They're on page #10, post # 148.

I-134 is for the K3 at the embassy interview,

I-864 you send to NVC for the CR-1.

You can download and fill both in at the USCIS immigration forms site.

Google it!

You can get the DS 230 also.
