Ok, I've searched and read but haven't found what I'm looking for. Maybe I did but I am too blurry eyed to see it....

We received our NOA2. Is it possible to go ahead and prepare all of the Packet 3 paperwork and once the Counsel in Brasil receives the I-129f package, have my fiancee go to the counsel and drop off the already completed Packet 3 without waiting for them to send it out? This seems that it would cut out about a month of waiting time...

Thanks!

Eric

We have the same question. My fiancee lives in Belo Horizonte. But, we are now in an apartment in Rio. We have everything done, except for the state police checki in MG. We plan to do this when she receives the letter in BH. When she receives the letter, her brother will call us, give us the RDJ2007 ... number, and we will sedex the 2001 and the other stuff overnight to the consulate. the next day , we will go to BH to get the last police check and say bye to the family.

By the time we get back, we should have the appointment letter waiting for us at the apartment.

I hope it all works this way. We should be back in the the US for the family Halloween party.

take it easy, and good luck,

Oh, you answered another question I had.... Cris has lived in a few cities (all in RJ). Does she go to the Federal Police or Civil Police or City Police????
