My question is would the California office reply via mail to inform what? Is this what they call NOA? and also case number?

so far its already August 12 th and nothing received yet?

pls. need some info about this.

As i have checked some got NOA like after 12 days only.

Yes, they will send you the NOA1 you will receive it soon, dont worry just be patient. Maybe you havent receive your NOA1 yet because CSC is still having problems in their system. Check the NEWS buttom above.

Keep in mind that most of the times, VSC filers get their NOA1s sooner than those who file at the CSC filers or NSC filers (when you could still file there). When we were waiting for our NOA1 I kept hearing people saying that the average was 10 days.. and that was so not true! We waited 34 for days to receive it. In many cases it's a lot longer than 10 or 12 days.

Yes, you should receive a paper receipt. Take a look here, it has examples:

If you used a personal cheque then you may be able to get the case number off the back. It will probably begin with the characters WAC. You can use this to check your status on the USCIS website here https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp. If you fill in your dates on your timeline then VisaJourney will make an estimated approval date for you.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment
