RFE..HELP US APRIL FILERS..

Hey Kit 24 Faith I got an RFE and it took about 17 days to get NO2 after I replied to RFE from VSC a couple of key things here don't speculate on what it could be just be ready with the required documents so you can send it back ASAP I sent mine back same day I received letter of RFE because of a Divorce Document that they wanted. I sent Judgement of Divorce but they Wanted Actual certificate of Divorce I was thinking crazy reasons. So slow down think and wait I know its hard. I also spent 30 days at NVC when it normally takes 3-5. So I understand some of your pain and frustrations. Strange you have so many touches and then the RFE. Hang in there and be strong for her. No.. I didn't bother because it will just generate a touch and I'm sure they will not say anything.. They will just tell me to wait for the letter.

well for some reason vj remove the link.. i don't know why.. anyways I was expecting the letter today but I guess we should both get it monday jessel and chris since we both got the rfe the same day.. I hope we won't run into a problem where we wait for the RFE letter and never came.. i happened to someone here before..

You guys will be ok. If you got the RFE, they are looking at your petition. It means once this is cleared up, you will most likely get NOA2

RFE LETTER THAT WE RECEIVED....

DIVORCE/DEATH DECREE: Submit a legible copy of the divorce/death decree issued by the civil authorities showing the following prior marriage(s) were legally terminated: the petitioner xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and xxxxxxxxxxxx.

FOREIGN DOCUMENTS: Any document written in another language other than English shall be submitted with a full English language translation. The translator must certify that the translation is complete and accurate and that he or she is competent to translate. NOTE: The requested foreign language document must be submitted with the English translation.

my fiance sent dissolution of marriage and we didn't send any thing that is foreign documents...What the hell they need from us? dissolution of marriage and divorce is just the same. The one that my fiance sent was notarized and from the court..We don't understand what they are saying? and we don't send foreign documents. My fiance retained a copy of what he sent to them and then he checked it again tonight and he can't see anything that is foreign document. we don't understand what they need...... He include my birth certificate and its all in English. We don't send any foreign document ....I'm confused

Huskerkiev (former NSC Adjudicator) said the RFE's are "scripted" letters. The copy of the divorce he sent may not have been completely readable. Check your copies and make certain they are and resend them. It is my understanding that the scripted letters may have items that will not apply such as the translations of foreign documents in this case, so get a letter together for them for the RFE response, explain the lack of foreign documents in the petition, and resend the divorce document.

If you have any doubts on this, you had best consult with an immigration attorney. In any case make certain your copies are good and there are indeed no documents requiring a translation.

You guys can make it through this, many have, and this is not an uncommon RFE.

he read the dissolution of marriage to me and all of the words there are very understandable all in English. can we call CSC to ask what they really need????
