Whew! I had the biometrics appointment today and that was a bit of a gong show. Bee almost got us lost getting to the office, I waited for 45 minutes, and then they had trouble getting decent prints from my fingers. But it's done and I'm alive and all that, and my picture for my future EAD/GC looks so kyooooot. :D

I'll just reply to myself here ahem.

There is this corny infomercial on, 'flower power' - however! It's for set of CD's of music from the 70's. I just have to say the 70's were so much cooler than the 2000's.

What about the Starland Vocal Band? Sometimes those Time-Life commercials are the best thing on TV. They have everything you could ever want in a show, even horror (have you seen Kenny Rogers  ).

lol

Actually, speaking of infommercial type stuff, I bought the 'midnight special' set a few weeks ago, it is winging its way to my door as we speak.

I remember watching the Midnight Special on Friday nights with my girlfriend in our jammas eating popcorn!

And who didn't look cool wearing purple bell bottoms with red patch pockets? I mean, come on. That's just groovy.

Feelin groovy

Coffee mate isn't all that bad, come on now. Come on people now, smile on your brother everybody get together....

Why do I get the feeling that this forum has become a yardstick for lunatics, but I guess that's one point of view...

The only GWG add I can remember is the one with Wayne Gretzky (bum, bum, bum...) :crying:

GWGs!!

What a flashback.

I think I had a pair.

Huge bell bottoms...I was such a cool kid in elementary school.

Hahaha.

HEY way off off topic:

I JUST RENTED MY APARTMENT FOR JANUARY FIRST!

To a super sweet young couple from Japan.

Maybe it was the limited Japanese I tried out on them, or the tangerines and cookies I bribed them with.

Hmmm...no matter. the biggest part of the tear down in Montreal is done.

Craigslist rules!

Sold stuff quickly and people are accommodating to wait until later to pick stuff up.

And I will give a bunch of stuff to the new tenants.

I just really liked them right away.

:star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

I have got to celebrate.

I had the best Biometrics experience. The USCIS building is very close to where I live- I left, got it done and was home within half an hour. The guy who did my prints was really nice too.

The Youngbloods.

I love that song Trailmix.

Singing it makes me feel good.

You might be on your way to redeeming yourself in my eyes.

No sky rockets in flight though....

Isn't mentioning the Starland Vocal Band and their song twice in one day a violation of the TOS or something, anything.

 You know, you're right. Boy, everything's a little clearer in the light of day.

OMG, you guys literally had me laughing out loud.

I hated the 70's. My mom always dressed me in sh#t brown corduroys. I was a really fat kid so you heard me coming from a mile away.

Uhm, my favourite pants, and I am wearing them out, are my brown cords at the moment.

Well, it is Winter people!

Okey, so I finally changed my display name. No more "& Bee". That guy got kicked to the curb real fast

I had to add the swirly things though since someone had regular nini, and I didn't want to knock off Stacey's idea :D

Ahhh. I was wondering who this ~Nini~ chick was when I glanced at the forum page. The swirly thing is called a tilde. No idea why it has its own special place on a keyboard, though. It's not as if we have great use for it.

followed by a rant of obscenities and really nasty stuff. Then I remembered I promised to be nice....
