Well now that you compare it to that I think I will skip the potatoes this week. :lol:

But its been great, I may not look different but I feel different! Plus I don't want to go out and buy an entire new wardrobe just to accomodate the weight gain. Which really did come on all of a sudden out of nowhere. :lol:

4 lbs in one week is awesome! When I move my parents have promised me a treadmill which I can't wait for. I'm taking my dog to the dog park a lot and when I'm there for almost 2 hours I just follow her around. I feel so great afterwards.

Thanks for the lovely coffee Carla!

Marilyn, we drink Maxwell House as well - we use Master Blend, it's a mild coffee and even says on the label - no bitter aftertaste!

Kathryn, it is a weeee bit nippy here too! We are apparently having unseasonably cooler temperatures in the mornings and evenings - we haven't turned on the furnace - but, last night we slept with no airconditioning on - which was a first, or rather we left it at 66 and I don't think it came on!

trust me I have tried other types of Maxwell house coffee and he isn't crazy about them :P ... he says it is slow roast or nothing :P

yeah the one I have now is the Original and it says on the jug "full flavour without the bitterness".. he doesn't like it :P

but maybe I will buy a small tin of the master blend (I don't think I have tried that one) and try that out

4 lbs in a week is awesome! Man I just keep fluctuating up and down around 2lbs..which is normal in a single day. Mind you, I dont think Im doing enough cardio. I could be doing way more.

ugh, I am going insane find this coffee my hubby likes.. a year or so ago I bought "Maxwell House Slow Roast coffee" from Walmart and hubby told me that he liked that one... but the next time I went to go get if from Walmart they no longer had it :( ...

I have bought other coffees since but hubby tells me that is the only one he likes because it doesn't have the bitter after taste...

I have looked at Walmart again, Albertsons, Vons, Food4Less.. I have no idea where else to look :P

they do have it on Amazon but in comes in a pack with 12 tins for 45 dollars and I don't want to spend that if by some chance it isn't the right coffee... :unsure:

You can try Dunkin Donut coffee - it is available at most supermarkets now and is really good without any bitter aftertaste. It is available in half pound bags so you can give it a try and see if he likes it. I know exactly what your husband means because I have the same complaint about most American coffees. The other one that I have discovered that is very good is Seattle Mountain Columbian Supremo. You can buy the whole beans at Costco and then grind them yourself. It is lovely coffee, also without any bitterness. hehehe, I have converted my husband away from American coffees. Once he tasted what I meant by a good coffee and then tried one of the ones he used to get he said it was entirely different - and agreed with me that my choices are much better.
