My cell phone is on the fed-ex truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

should be here sometime today!

Wow air conditioning and a cell phone! woot woot!

Supposed to be hot here today, surprise! It's kind of funny, we have moved to this really sunny and warm place and I am not really a 'sitting out in the sun' person and I don't really go out when it's too hot :) (but I still like it).

I also have vitiligo, which makes for interesting skin coloring, I am even getting a lovely irregular tan from sitting in the shade on the patio.

oh, and about the air conditioning...

I've had it on for 2 WHOLE DAYS (set to 50 degrees)

Turned it off yesterday out of frustration b/c after all that time, the temp in the house was still 78 degrees

The fan was blowing the whole time but it didn't make a bit of difference..

That means there's something wrong, right?

It does. We had this same problem a little over a week ago, don't know if you have the same type of setup but - fan was on, so it appeared to be 'working' but no cold air.

So the aircon guy comes over and opens up the unit in the wall, turns out the radiator thing is frozen as there was no filter and therefore dirt had built up on the radiator thing and it just froze.

He came over at 10, by 12 the thing was defrosted and cleaned and he put in a filter (there wasn't one). He used my hairdryer to start it thawing.

So if you do have a panel thing on the wall, it would be worth it to take it off and make sure it's clean in there.

I took the panel off when it got turned on the other day, changed the filter, vacummed cuz it was disgusting.. and from then all we got was air..

So I don't know what else to try

Liz I sure hope you get the a/c fixed as it sure has been warm and of course not nearly as warm as it is going to get lol. I am thinking as soon as I can I am getting at least 1 new a/c (window unit).

Just put a 25 cent sign on the headboard and pretend it's one of those old vibrating beds.

I hope the aircon works now!
