So we went to visit our bank manager yesterday. There had been some very strange things happening to our accounts and we wanted to find out why. Apparently they had a bunch of hillbillies working for them and they didn't know what the hell they were doing. We were supposed to have the super-duper deluxe accounts with no fees and a shiny new safety-deposit box, but they had given us the no frills version and had been charging us through the nose. So now we're all straightened out, we both have shiny new keys, and...... ta daaaaaah...... I got offered a job! I'm thinking I may look into it.

Hey that's nice, even if you aren't interested, still nice to have the offer!!

Thanks for the coffee flames, Canadian Cafe in Moarovia, CA, maybe I will open up a Canadian Cafe here!

I will be your first customer!

Yep, it was nice to receive the offer. But I think I may have gotten ripped off on my account. I'm pretty sure you're supposed to receive a free shotgun with each new account opened. :hehe:

Pfft. Shotguns are lousy. Sure, they looked cool in T2, but they're really not all that good. Unless you're very close to your target, shotguns are incredibly inaccurate and half the reason to have a firearm in the first place is so you won't need to be close. :P

They are and they're much less expensive; however, they're nowhere near as fun to use. On that note... who wants to play "Global Thermonuclear War with W.O.P.R./Joshua" today? :P

So we went to Walmart today to return the Alltel phone that we bought in Nebraska, which has never worked.

I must say Alltel has some of the worst customer service i've encountered. Anyway, Walmart said they wouldn't take it back as they don't stock that particular phone (what I didn't know was that was because I also didn't have the receipt) long story short, while looking in my purse for a receipt for something else we were returning, I found the phone/phone card receipt and they gave us our money back!

actually, a shotgun is the most deadly firearm at close range. 00 buck contains 9 .32 caliber balls, probably 4 of which outweigh the heaviest bullet fired by a .44 magnum. plus the shooter is pretty much insured of a hit with a shotgun while a single round shooter (pistol, rifle) isn't. and a shotgun slug is way heavier than anything fired by a rifle or pistol.

At 0900 on A sunday morning!! ur crazy!! Any of ur neighbors yelling at ya? lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
