Awww - yeah the travel is horrendous then you get jet lag to boot!! Great!! Coming back I wasn't so bad this time though Can't wait til I don't have to worry about the time difference anymore... the nights are the hardest

Yeah - I think the weirdest thing is that M calls me as I'm getting up and she is just getting to bed. It's hard to comprehend it. Last night I woke at 1.30am and shot bolt upright as I suddenly realised I was in bed alone!!! Then I remembered ....

It's day 168 since we applied today, 208 days until our wedding. In two weeks time it's 6 months since we applied.

Isn't 180 days the official 'You can call us and we will help you' point or have I brained my damage?

No, I think on day 180 you call and they tell you that they are processing in order, and are working on August 19. They will also tell you that they cannot believe that anyone has been approved who has applied in Sept, Oct, Nov. or December, so you must be delusional. They will then tell you that they don't have to listen to that kind of language, after which they will hang up.

Well I think there is a black hole in southern California because I haven't seen anyone approved today and I took another step back on Igors list to 91. I think they should fire everyone at CSC and let the VSC do all the applications. At least they seem to know how to get their work done

Hello All,

Sorry for my downer yesterday guys!!! Mercedes is away home and my Mum died 13 years ago on St Patrick's Day (yesterday) so it's never a good day as you can imagine!!! It gets worse when you are waiting for an NOA2.

But life goes on and in one of those funny twists of fate, when I checked my USCIS case this very minute I found this ...

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On March 17, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

I'm too excited to write more .. just know that I've tears in my eyes as I write this. Me old Mum was watching over me after all these years ... now I'm really crying ... just so happy!!!
