Well, whoopee. DHL still has no clue where the shipment is, and I get this from C.:

I am in Guala......this weekend is holliday CARNAVAL, I didn´t talk with my aunt and I will go back on Wednesday night and I will go to get if from my aunt.....I don´t like when you start to yell to people if they don´t know is maybe because here is holliday and nobody will work until wednesday.........That is what I don´t from you when you lose your head and acting like a rude pleople.

Think about loco I don´t wnat to heard anybody yellling to anybody also.

:unsure: It's hard for an outsider to know what to make of an exchange like that. We all have our own little ways of chatting, and a red flag to one person would be just an idiosyncrasy of the relationship to another. The other night my SO, about 30 seconds into our phone call, told me she refused to talk to me any longer, and that I needed to hang up right away. But this is just her way of saying that she's concerned and wanted me to go back to bed and rest.

If you think it's run its course...you might be right. :( It really bites that this DHL thing had to muddy the waters though.

Well, she was favorably impressed weeks ago when I told her that I'd yelled at USCIS. I'll just write her back and tell her the truth -- I was most patient for 25 minutes with the stonewalling DHL airheads and then I spoke loudly with them. We'll see how she reacts. If she continues to react with irritation, that's The Sign (well-known to me throughout life so far) that It's Over.

Well, dig this!

I wrote the fiancee to explain my behavio(u)r, and I mentioned that I was eyeing a visit in February. She just wrote back thusly:

USCIS is SOOOO incompetent!!!! I haven't even gotten my NOA2 yet and already they are handing out NOA3 to May filers!!!! Someone needs to be fired! Write your congressman! Write the President! Light up the Bat Signal!

Once you are out of this time frame, rest assured that you will be within the 8-month time frame, and if you are not within the 10-month time frame two months after that, you can file with our ombudsman so that you will not receive a response, but perhaps a form letter, 45 days after that, not counting the 13-year extension. But be assured of our flat promise that we process applications in the order we receive them! Sincerely, USCIS (CSC)."
