Hey Parag!!!

Thanks for thr updated list...we went from 66 to 12 on the list...Yahooooo!!!

Even though we are really in the same position as we were in yesterday it feels good having a little false hope  ...it's definately better than no hope.

The work that you've done for this thread is greatly appreciatd!!!

Scott

Good luck- should be close now

Thank you...I hope we are close...the wait doesn't get any easier in fact I think it gets more painful!!

I think it would be less painful to walk on a bed of hot coals. At least the pain would be over quickly, unlike this visa process. Hang in there Scott we will get there :thumbs:

Yeah...I'm sure it will be soon...maybe tomorrow...or the next day...or the day after that...AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

There I feel much better now.

Scott

Yeah, I agree with the idea of disabling certain timelimes. At some point we don't know if people are just miserable as us or if they were blessed and then just forgot to update their info...

Well...

I'm sorry for my bitter comment. =)

I'm really starting to get tired of that.

People! We must be brave!

In my opinion I don't think there is a harm in calling. In my opinion I would suggest following prompts that say you have a letter with a request for evidence. Keeping to follow these prompts you would be asked to enter your receipt number. Use the numbers on your phone to spell out the first 3 letters (wac=922 for example) and then continue punching in the rest of the numbers for your application. So I guess treat your receipt number like a telephone number letters included when punching it in.

And then you will speak to someone there. But I doubt they will be much help now. My experience lately with them has been worse than the USCIS website.

People, do you think that is a worth trial to call CSC?

Is there anyone here who is WAITING FOR 4 MONTHS?

Gosh, I don't know what to do anymore!

=)

Well , from the date of sending in the petition I guess I am about 9 days off from having waited 4 months.

As far as calling in, I am wondering the same thing given other peoples posts about the CSC answers being unhelpful.

Im just hoping they at least touch my file soon as they havent even properly touched it yet, only touches have been from calls.

Absolutely no activity at all even after several calls to customer service which in my opinion is a waste of time and another frustrating venture...really, I am so disappointed in our USCIS for being so lame. I am hardly proud of the job that they are doing and feel for everyone that is in the same boat as I am...the whole mess just plain SUCKS!!! (excuse my French)

I guess all we can do is hold on tight for this not so fun ride.

KEEP THE FAITH!!! And keep in touch.

Is anyone ever aware that they have "been assigned an officer"? Once the box that contains your petition gets to an adjudicator's desk I guess you could consider him or her your officer but I do not think that status is ever posted on the website.

Maybe a customer service agent can see that information and uses that terminology over the phone?

Hi there. As of last Friday we hadn't been assigned an officer yet :( . I have heard of people receiving touches and then calling to find out they have been assigned, but that isn't always the way things happen. A lot of people receive no touches and then are approved. With USCIS, it's anyone's guess. I've called CSC three times, but honestly, it doesn't seem to do me much good. It only adds to my sadness. I don't know if we can even trust anything they tell us anyway. When I called I got the same old song and dance that they are processing applications from February and March. From the recent approvals we know this isn't true, but that is what they are told to say to us. Believe me, I know how hard it is, but we do just have to be patient. At some point this will all be over and we will be with the ones we love. I'm wishing for many approvals today and tomorrow!

I think you guys at 130 days plus should be getting approved anytime now. I think CSC timeline is at 128 days from filing to NOA2. The last approvals were all in the 130 day range. Hang in there

It is sooooo hard not knowing anything at all. If I had a dollar for everytime I checked VJ and the USCIS website, I would be a very rich woman by now! :) But I have to believe the end is near!!! Hopefully they will get caught up soon and then start banging out more approvals. I hope some of you later filers won't have to wait as long for yours. :)
