ramanusa,

Congrats on your approval!

Question about your AOS - did you have an interview before you got your green card?

Just to clarify - I'm asking about your AOS (I-485) interview, not the I-751.

mawilson,

yes I was called for an AOS interview and the immigration officer was fcukin assho... he tried his best to unsettle me by saying I cannot verify your student status before the marriage.I told him I cannot do anything but i can bring you the transcripts from my school.I remained kinda defiant bcz i was pissed & he was being unreasonable and then he said u will get a letter for a new appointment and at that appointment u have to bring the proof that u were enrolled in a school in USA. I was like ####### this thing got delayed..it happened on april 18th 2005 and i kept waiting for the letter, then on 11th july 2005 i got the conditional GC in mail.I was thinking why the hell he did all that #######..I guess he knew the marriage was real after seeing the birth certificate of my daughter...idiot was just messing around..besides that the whole process went smooth for me.

Congratulations Raman!

I filed my I-751 with CSC back in April, nothing has happened since then, except that I received my NOA and the biometrics letter.

But then I filed with a waiver, so it will take some time.
