Hi,

I'm waiting on a few items (birth certificate, passport type photo, notarized single certifcate affadavit, completed G-325A form)

from my fiancee in Shanghai to arrive before I will petition for the K1 visa later this month.

Looking at the example forms available on this site (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?autocom=custom&page=examples)

more specifically the Fiance Letter of Intent, I was wondering if both signatures had to be on this document. Or do we write a separate each?

I was a little thrown off because in the example, it has "(petitioner’s / beneficiary’s address)".

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Wish me luck, just beginning the long journey.

My fiancee and I each wrote our own letter of intent and I included both in the packet I sent.

I believe it is personal preference. You could each write your own or you could write a joint letter and both sign it.

I'm not a lawyer thou.. Anyone else have any feedback on this?

Usually the letters of intent are individually written and signed by the beneficiary and the petitioner. I guess if you wanted to save a tree, you can write one letter for the both of you. ^_^ However you wish to present your letter(s) of intent, it's important that both you and your fiancee sign them to validate the intention stated in the letter.
