Depends on how long he overstayed to determine if he is subject to a ban on reentry. If he overstayed for more than 180 days, he is subject to a 3 year ban on reentry. You would have to file a waiver in order to get a visa for him.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

overstay is 2 1/2 years since we met.

well he has earned himself a 10 year ban on reentry if he has left the country and returned to Jamaica. If he is still here, and entered legally, then you could adjust his status if he hasnt committed any crimes, etc,

It would be worth your while having a consultation with a lawyer. I would recommend that he not leave the country for any reason until you have done so.

I think you might be pleasantly surprised if you can get to a lawyer.

Make sure you're wearing clean knickers. You never know when you'll be run over by a bus.
