You want to say the truth? Go ahead; say sure I did smoke pot 40 days ago! From drawing blood test it well not appears but... the consulate will put your ### on the grass if you say this! Period!

actualy we in america, we have the top sell marijuana in the world with high economey business ... the fact is in law they try to show that yea we care about drugs... act!

go ahead guys and say that in your interview who smoked pot in past 40 days and more! see who has the balls to say this!...

I am not a alchoholic or drug user if i were i wont say that! actully my fiancee she is not drug user as will.. so i am pertty much fine on my side.

I didn't advice anybody, I just post my opinion thats it! duh...

Reza, it seems you are having a language problem here.

You wrote: " in some type of circumstance. you don't need to say the true! he did worng, he shouldnt say that"

In English,

YOU DON"T NEED TO = ADVICE

HE SHOULDN'T SAY THAT = ADVICE.

If you want to give you opinion, you need to say "In my opinion . . . "

You should be more careful -- that's advice -- because your posts are in violation of the Terms of Service of Visa Journey.

Um. Okay.

Poor advice from someone who's previously given bad advice, in my opinion. You can get denied a visa for lying to a consular officer about anything, much less about previous drug use. Why would you encourage lying, period?

How many people have lied in the interview and been approved? How many people have told the truth and been denied? It is not up to any one here to decide what to do. It is up to the individule that is being interviewed. This is my "opinion". There are some things that if you tell the truth that will absolutley get you denied. Past, present, right or wrong. Tell a lie and get caught, no visa! It is up to the CO to decide. It is up to the person being interviewed that has to live with whatever they decide. My opinion and only my opinion..................do what you think is right.

Reza - no one can tell you or anyone else what to say in an interview or in the immigration process in general. but whatever you decide to say or not say, it sure doesnt seem like a good idea to air something like this out on a public message board. partially because VJ is a great resource for sound advice and experiences that conform to the legal way of doing things but also because it is known that at least from time to time immigration and consular officers are known to read this board! there was someone a couple of years ago who was specifically asked at her consulate interview about something she had posted on VJ, the officer mentioned the site by name, and knew her user name. Do you really want to be taking the chance that the wrong set of eyes could read this forum and see you stating your opinion that maybe sometimes its a good idea to lie at an interview? So have your opinion about how to handle these issues but if I were you I would have a little more discretion when it comes to something as serious about immigration and illegal acts and lying about them. Use some common sense!

Just my opinion.....

in some type of circumstance. you don't need to say the true! he did worng, he shouldnt say that! buy any way , he well be fine, another test it well be good like the last one.. don't worry

Excuse me???

If it comes to Immigration I strongly advise to always stick with the truth. Now there are things you should only say when asked for and not volunteer to share, but that's entirely different than lying about something.

Reza, seriously, with your attitude, you set yourself up for some big trouble some day!!

I didn't coment on your post! my attitude is fine for my self and you keep your self behave last worning!

But I comment on your post and you giving bad advice to others. This isn't the first time you have done this. And with "your attitude" I mean the way you are thinking, I didn't mean you have an attitude per se.

And I didn't understand the last part of your reply.

I didn't advice anybody, I just post my opinion thats it! duh...

you posted something that another may look at as the GOD HONEST TRUTH and the WAY to handle this kind of issue. this topic is not new on VJ but, you never know who will read what you say and how they will react. they are just giving you caution.

Reza, what YOU do and say to the USCIS is totally up to you. If you think telling lies is fine, then go ahead. That is your decision and yours alone. But please stop advising other people to do so as well.

Like stated before, this is a TOS violation!

Of course people have lied and do lie and will lie at interviews. Nobody doubts it and I am sure, some people get away with it. That doesn't make it right though.

DO NOT SAY THAT YOU HAVE HAD A HERB SMOKE

EVER!!

WHY EVEN RISK SOMEONE APPLYING JUDGEMENT, THEIR OWN JUDGEMENT ON YOU!!

DO NOT SAY ANYTHING, EVEN IF ASKED IF YOU DID

1. IT IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS, IT IS LIKE ASKING IF THEY HAVE EVER BEEN DRUNK, WAY WORSE AND WAY MORE HARMFUL

2. SUPPOSEDLY, YOU CANNOT REMEMBER SO WELL, HAHAAH ANOTHER GREAT LIE, IF YOU SMOKE THAT PLANT WITH NO CHEMICALS OUT OF THE GROUND, SO IT WOULD NOT BE LYING SAYING, NO I HAVE NEVER EVER TRIED IT, IF YOU CAN'T REMEMBER

AND EVERYONE IS TELLING REZA NOT TO LIE

BUT WHAT.........?????????

YOU ARE ALL SAYING IT IS BETTER TO ADMIT TO SMOKING POT 30 YEARS AGO??????????????????????
