Might not be available in her area as I lived in Canada all my life until just now and never heard of WINTEL.

they're a small company. they don't advertise much besides the occasional flyer in the weekly flyer delivery. i asked to get their new local line last year. they said they hadn't started providing service here yet (40 minutes from toronto), but they had just made it available in toronto.

Bell told me, my bill will be $83.85 for everything, features, North American unlimited long distance and the high speed internet. I'll see tomorrow, they're re-installing my phone line.

I'm so fed up with Cogeco right now. Phone was messed up for the entire day and night yesterday. Over an hour on hold to talk to someone, then they say " I can't hear you , call back" UGHHHHHHHH

I have had a Rogers home phone for over 3 years now and have never had a problem with it. My rates have stayed the same for the past 3 years...$29.95 for basic phone with call display, and $19.95 for unlimited calling anywhere in north america. Trust me, I've taken great advantage of the "unlimited" aspect of the plan, talking on average about 3000 minutes per month!

ya, rogers home phone w the unlimited NA isn't so bad..

my area (Yonge & Lawrence) just didn't work so well with the home phone modem so that had to switched to a normal home phone line..

but keep track of your bills... I've gotten over $150 off because they put charges on there that were wrong

cell: getting charged during my unlimited nites and weekend hrs

internet: getting charged TWICE for internet in the same billing period

home phone: service interruptions for two weeks when I was moving cuz they accidentally canceled my home phone two wks prior to my moving date..

sigh..
