Hi all,

Just got the AOS fee bill and the DS3032 for the I130. The AOS fee bill is obvious enough, just make teh check out make photo copies of everything and send it out.

Little confused about the DS 3032.

1) What is it for?

2) Do you have to do this?

3) Should I just check and fill out the first option out of 4 (the one starting with I appoint) in the accompanying DS3032 form?

4) Does the spouse being applied for not receive any more mail after this?

5) Lastly is there a beter way to do this? Read some folks on this forum sending this via email.

Thanks all.

It would really help if you'd fill out your "TIMELINE"

Farcry, the DS3032 is the choice of agent, you need to appoint your agent, usually people appoint the USC because it shortens the mailing time and the chance that documents get lost. Doing this you just have to send to your husband/wife everything ahead of time so that you guys are ready to send back everything NVC asks for.

You can appoint anybody you want as agent.

Regarding the fee, I have been told not to use a personal check but a money order payble to the Department of State.

Cross check all the info on the deparment of state homepage.

Hope I helped you

I did e-mail the choice of agent as I haven't received the form yet. We called NVC automated service and found out that the fee and the DS3032 had been generated so, following James' Shortcut, the system is now ready to receive these info. You received it already, just overnight mail it to them, you'll be fine. But yes you have to mail it back in order to proceed with the process.

Farcry80,

Pleae fill in your timeline, we can't give you the right information without it. But if you are pursuing a K3 visa, you don't need to follow through with the DS-3032 and AOS fee bill because they are for CR1/IR1 visas.

But again,
