I have a ticket reserved for my fiance with Alitalia. Both of us have not flown with this airlines before. I was hoping someone could tell me about them. If you like them or not? Or any thing at all you would like to share about them. Thanks.

I've only flown on Alitalia one time--from Madrid to Venice, but it was some time ago (1995). It was a pleasant flight.

yea i like them as well...definitely better than most us carriers, in my opinion...the in flight entertainment is far superior, touch screen with free movies, music, tv, etc...the crew is also very nice, but they have been known to have delays for no reason at all...i experienced this one time or another, but you learn to get over it, because the flights themselves are pleasant.

I flew from Milan to Accra last summer with Alitalia. It was pretty nice. The attendants were pretty friendly, but I was sitting next to an older woman from Nigeria, who I don't think had much experience flying, and they were a bit short with her. Other than that, it worked out fine. They do make a stop through Lagos like most airlines. And also they were very helpful when I had a problem with agency that scheduled my ticket. Just before leaving I went to the main office in Accra, and the people there made sure my tickets were booked through. I am sure you will be happy flying with them.

thanks everyone, you too Jenn :) it makes me feel a lot better. I paid for the flight a little bit ago. Except for the lady over the phone asking me my credit card number 5 times and still have not got the email itinerary, she said she emailed me. Other then that I pray his flight and transfer in Milan is smooth. Thanks again
