Dear dears,

We had another interview at the embassy on July 2nd. I was there. We got put into administrative processing. Unfortunately, I believe that I no longer want to continue with this process. Right before htye gave him the paper..I thought they would stamp his visa and everything in my froze in utter terror. I prayed a small prayer to not let this happen. I left there utterly relieved that they gave him administrative processing and I good get out of Jordan, free and clear. I traveled to another country before coming home and told my fiance I can not marry him. He does not get it...still does not get it. It saddens me and I wish there was another way...but I realize...as I've been realizing over the past six months, I don't want to marry him. I think he's cool but not good for me....so I am hoping that he gets it. I think I may have to contact the embassy so they do not give him the visa. If they do, I believe he would come here and try to force me or embarrass me enough to marry him. I do not want it to get to that point.

This is a lot to say...but this is what's up. Congrats to Lioness and thank you so much for everything.

Yes, you do need to contact the consulate if you intend to cancel. Also ask them if they have returned your petition to the US (NVC or CSC) and if so, contact that office as well.

Thanks for your message...Just something I've been thinking about for awhile. When I went to visit, he did some really really bad things to me. And there were some issues that run deep. And I realized that the money is not as important as having a good life and doing the right thing. I am not worried about money spent. So, just doing what's right for my own heart and spirit. I have good friends and a good community in the US. I do not mind being alone for now. This was a very difficult decision but I did my best. I wish everyone the best on their visas and marriages. It is great that people can find someone that they love and you can make it work across the waters...I am happy and have great hope for everyone on VJ.again, thanks for your messge.
