Any suggestions? My job has been changed after I sent the affidavit of support form (I-864) to NVC. Do I need to fill a new form and send to the embassy alongwith the pay stubs (or letter from company) or send to my wife so she can take with her to the embassy or just stick to the one that I sent couple of months ago and dont mention my new job. Because I dont want the process to get delayed by me sending new documents. Has this happened to anyone, ???

You MUST send in a new form, as they called my co-sponser's place of employment in the US to verify, and my atty advised me to fill out a new one, also update any other forms with this new information, there is one I think the bio form, hope this helps.......... and yes, DO include letter from your new employer and pay stubs.

Where do I need to send the forms? To NVC, to the embassy or should my wife take those forms with her to the interview.

Have your wife take the forms with her to the interview at the embassy. Remember to make duplicates.

AOA

For K3 applicants, how much is the fee collected during the interview at Islamabad? Is it $100 or $380 as stated on the counsulate's webpage?

Shukria!

My husband had to pay the $380.

My Husbands K-3 interview fee was $100. Plus we had the $80 (apprx) fee for Fingerprints. The $380 sounds like the CR-1 fee that is paid to the NVC. ?? Not sure, cause we did not pursue the CR-1.

you do realize that if you apply for k-3. you still have to pay the FEES for the AOS. its the same

as applying for CR1. only diffrence is more process and more waiting. except she maybe in the states.

however, if you have approval on the I-130< CR1> reguardless if you pay k-3 fees. the embassy

will cancell your petition. so there goes the k-3 monies- they dont apply the diffrence to the CR1 at all.

380.0 is for the CR1 fees but, the fee is the same for AOS.

also note: the fees for CR1 can increase anytime the USICS wants it to increase.

yes they will. ours got cancelled after our interview and 10 months on AP. we got no warning.

others have had their k-3 cancelled because, k-3 is just a visa for you to come to the USA and wait

out approval of I-130.

yes, i'm in the states, anyway, i scared, lol, this just seems like a never ending trip of pain..................... here i was thinking maybe one or two more months.... and now.......... it could be eternity.

what does anyone think would be a way to bring attention to the us gov or whoever about how the overseas embassys/consulates conduct business in such a sloppy, slow haphazard fashion?

you know I have to be honest and tell you whats happening. its not a pretty picture this process is far from rosy.

2 years AP is no joke. its getting worse because, of all the politics.

most people are on AP at least 1 year. those that have been on AP less than that ...

was because if the timing of when they filed. now its the norm to wait 1 year.

I wish there was something we could do.. the only thing that will speed this process up is if we find that dayum bin ladin azz hoe!

Looking at people's timelines, it seems that most of the AP delays are to people who are pursuing IC/CR-1 and K1 visas. It looks like K-3 applicants are not getting stuck in AP's as often though.

Has anyone else observed this trend/ agree or have info on this?

K3 Filed - Dec. 2006

2007 Results and AR/AP Statistics For K3

Males:

TSHAH2006 K-3 UNKNOWN

MISSINGHIM K-3 (Male) UNKNOWN

ASISUN K-3 UNKNOWN

MICHIGAN K-3 (Male) INTERVIEW ON 01, NOV,2005 VISA RECEIVED ON 02,NOV,2006 (1 Year)

SABAHK99 K-3 INTERVIEW ON 15, SEPT,2006 ON AP

SK782 K-3 (Male) INTERVIEW ON ????? VISA RECEIVED 26, JAN,2007

Chigal K-3 (Male) Interview November 2006 and on AP

Females:

Maranello K3 (female) interviewed 12/01/2006 on AP

Ali1978 K3 (female) Feb 06,2007 on AR and now April 27th on AP

Islamabad gives out AP to most but not all men and now more and more ladies are seeing this as well. The average time if you do not have a common name and male is running around 6 -12 months no matter the type of visa. Look at Michigan ,common name, above he was on AR/AP one year so all you can do is go for the interview and pray that you are sparred or if you endure this that your time is short. This is the reason that I am trying to keep the updates current and ask that all Pakistani persons fill in their timeline so it can give us a time frame on how long this process is taking. Make sure to fill in your timeline as well and take your journey one day at a time.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.
