My timelines just jumped ahead 2 months on the I130. What the heck is going on with the timelines? Did everything just slow down 2 months at CSC? I sent in both my I130 and my 129F and now the I130 jumped ahead from October to December in less than 2 weeks. Gees LOUISE. Does this mean this dramatic of a slow down has occured? The fee increases... have they led to an onslaught of applications coupled with the stopping of consular filings? What the heck? My lawyer is telling me I will probably have an approval on both of them in the fall but the timelines are saying December and even if you add 100 days to either case it sure doesnt add up to December. Have people not been filling in their timelines or are the lags at VSC doing this? What gives?

The timeline projections to which you refer are a function of averaging reported data. They are only as accurate as the underlying data. A couple people putting in the wrong year on their timelines could throw them off considerably. They are an interesting data point but that's all.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

02/26/2008 : Moved to Colorado

I-751 Lifting of Conditions

06/01/2010 : Completed packet for I-751

06/04/2010 : Mailed packet via UPS

06/07/2010 : Receipt for I-751

08/18/2010 : Biometrics appointment

08/20/2010 : Approved

02/09/2011 : Contacted congressman due to non-receipt of card
