Current Status: We mailed you a notice requesting additional evidence.

Could be for anything... Photo sizes maybe? The only way to be sure though is to either wait for the RFE notice to come through the post or to give them a call and ask them what the RFE is for.

It sounds like you got an RFE. You'll probably get a notice in a few days telling you what they need you to send them. I think most people's case status' are updated online before they get it in hardcopy. It could be for anything, maybe you were just randomly selected to provide orginals for verification. Be happy they've already looked at your application. Once you send in the evidence they are requesting you'll probably be approved immediately (if it's what they are looking for). Alot of people on here have to wait ALOT longer than that. It must be something to do with Cuba.

Hi Ischia,

You'll receive the RFE in the mail next week. The notice will specify what evidence is needed to satisfy the RFE. Also, the notice will provide examples of primary and secondary evidence.

If you want to see an example (what I submitted in my RFE response), read the update in "Arrgghhh." Note: the PO Box address for the RFE is different from the PO Box used when submitting the original K-1 application.

Good luck! Give a holler if you need some help.
