Yes you can find out by calling the Dept. of State. Theyare open from 0830-5:00pm est. All you need is your manilla number and they will give you your date, provided that Manila has received and processed your application with a medical exam date and interview date. The number is (202) 663-1225. Actually, anyone with petitions to different locations can find out by calling this number. Good Luck you you on the rest of your journey!!! Hope it helps!!

Thanks!!! Yes it is possible to find out your interview date by calling the DOS since the US Embassy Manila website only updates their site once a month. It had been 4 weeks today that NVC sent our case to Manila. Good luck to the both of you!!

First of all, congratulations! Secondly, I see you called the DOS to get an interview date, is this something that can only be done with applications from the Phillipines or from other countries as well? I thought you had to send in a few things to the embassy before they would give you an interview date...

Thanks! No, I think you can call the DOS for any applications that are sent. I waited about 2 weeks after I received our case number from the NVC before calling the DOS every day. We did not have to send in anything to them. The US embassy in Manila received our case and on July 6th the DOS told me that our case was qualified for an interview date. Hopefully you will get some news on your case soon. Good luck to the both of you.

Actually, they told us at the embassy in Naples, Italy, that our interview date will not be scheduled until they get the documents from Packet 3. Which they said they had sent out a week ago, but we didn't get yet.
