Ok..Yes, I am excited now..Today my I-130 was approved.

What should I do?...I started this K-3 process knowing how it works with the filing of the I-130 and the I-129F. I expected my I-129F to be approved first. Now I've heard about the CR-1/IR-1..Should I pursue that?..or wait for the I-129F to be approved?..What should I get from USCIS next? Will my I-130 automatically go to the NVC?..Lots of questions in my mind now..wasn't expecting this

Well it's up to you, but if you are looking for speed, then you should just pursue both of them as they come until one of them works out for you. You may have filed your I-129F late and the I-130 was not able to be paired up with it at the USCIS, if this is the case then they will send your I-130 directly to the NVC and you and your spouse will both get a packet of instructions.

This boat is gettin' crowded! Every day more and more I-129F filers are finding their I-130s approved first. Check around some of the other threads, there are a lot of people trying to decide what to do in this case. Just be aware that if you want to keep the I-130 moving along as you wait for I-129F approval, it means you're going to have to send in more $$$ and forms soon.

It's too soon to predict a trend but the one of those I-130 approved first cases now finds both petitions were actually approved the same day. The notification was just late on the I-129F. It's still unclear but I think only the I-129F went to NVC. That's what is supposed to happen. We may be discussing a number of false alarms.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
