I was stressing over whether to fly to Morocco and wait with Abdou....

This morning he called me to wake me up, say i love you, and that he hopes i come...

we hang up....i fall back asleep dreaming about how long it will take for AP to be oooooooover...

and less than 5 minutes later Abdou called back and said right when we hung up, the consulate called and said to come pick up his visa on Mondayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't want to jinx it, in case something goes wrong *knocks on wood* but it looks like he'll get the visa! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! what could have taken 2-1/2 months if there were no closing of the consulate, problems with the paperwork, AP, turned into 5 months! but it was worth it to get the visa!

Great news! Now maybe you can use the money that you would have spent on a ticket to Morocco to have a nice weekend getaway when he arrives! :dance:

ETA: or else save it for the exorbitant AOS fees... :whistle:

March 2006 - AOS packet mailed

DIVORCED

June 2007 - Interview

2008 - 10 year approval

09/18/07 - Biometrics

10/15/07 - Transferred to CSC

01/09/08 - AOS approved w/o interivew

11/01/09 - Lift conditions

11/01/10 - interview to lift conditions/10-yr card

01/01/10 - 10 year approval

06.18.2007 - Starting to Freak Out over this AP #######

06.27.2007 - Visa In Hand.. Alhamdulillah!

07.13.2007 - Husband arrives in the US!!! alhamdulillah ..yup.. thats right Friday the 13th!!

07.24.2007 - Mailed in AOS & EAD together to Chicago

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.
